St. Margaret's School is a registered non-profit society: #10802 8614 RR 0001
Each fall, we identify a number of projects with the potential to improve the learning experience for our students the following year. Our Annual Fund is the fundraising effort that brings them to life.
Each contribution to SMS is extremely important as we build a philanthropic culture that embraces and supports our school and our girls. In some cases, donors are able to make a major gift of $5,000 or more and help the school complete a project more quickly. These generous gifts are transformative for our students and teachers that create immediate opportunities and improvements to school facilities and programs.
If you would like to discuss making a major gift to St. Margaret’s School, please contact our Advancement Office.
Many people provide first for their loved ones in their Will and then look to leave a gift to a non-profit organization to which they are connected and have likely supported during their lifetime. Planned gifts, also known as legacy gifts, allow you provide future support to a school program or department that is most meaningful to you. Planned gifts are usually estate gifts of capital such as bequests, real estate or life insurance.
The 1908 Society is comprised of visionary donors who have committed a planned gift to St. Margaret’s School and are dedicated to ensuring the 1908 legacy of SMS founders, Edith and Isabel Fenwick, and Margaret Barton.
