Registration for new participants only.

SELF.I.E. Camp is a specialized program designed specifically for girls in their pre-teen years. Our camps are led by impassioned high school mentors who have the desire to share their knowledge and experience with younger girls. The goal of the camp is to help participants develop a rich appreciation and understanding of themselves – one that will allow them to build resilience and thrive, while also enabling them to better support other girls and give back to their communities.

In a relaxed and inclusive environment, each day of the camp focuses on a different element of “Self”: self-care, self-defence, self-expression, self-acceptance, and self-to-others. The girls participate in a variety of intentional activities in order to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of themselves and one another. Activities include mindful yoga, cooking, art, dance, a social media/digital safety workshop, a self-defence workshop and community service project.

Discussions and reflections relate to issues including wellness, healthy friendships, bullying, beauty and body image, safe use of social media and how to make a difference in their communities.

Due to the high demand and specific nature of this camp, we will accept first-time Self.I.E. Campers only.
