Grade 8 Humanities and MY ELL

What is your favourite unit to teach

Hmmmm…the Grade 8 Social Studies curriculum is all super interesting, but I guess I like looking at the Renaissance the best.

What book do you give most as a gift?

“Sometimes I like to Curl Up in a Ball” by Charles Fuge and Vicki Churchill. Can you tell I have small kids??

What other SMS staff member would you most want to be stuck on a deserted island with and why?

Anyone who makes tea for me!

What is your favourite food & local restaurant?

I love a good burger, so Bin 4!

What is your hobby/obsession?!

I spend a lot of time with my family and I play a lot of sports.

What is your secret talent or superpower?

Ummmmm …. I am pretty good at organizing stuff. Is that even a talent??

What is one thing you can’t live without?

My three boys!

What one piece of advice would you give to your younger self?

Relax! (I’m still learning to work on that now!!)

What habit do you do every day that you feel is integral to the success of your day?

As stated above, tea is a very important part of my day.
