Ms. Livingston teaches English in the Senior School. She teaches girls how to communicate their ideas for different purposes, and how to interact and work with the ideas of others. She loves walking alongside students as they experience great stories for the first time, and how new characters and worlds can challenge their assumptions - and how a good classroom discussion can do the same. She loves hiking, nature photography and learning about native plants. In the summer, you are likely to find her in one of our local parks, stooped over a native flower, trying to find the perfect angle to capture the bloom.
Why SMS? "Our students are warm, hard-working, inquisitive, intelligent and spirited young women. They inspire and challenge their peers, their teachers and their community."
