The Outside While Learning (OWL) Program is a unique environmental education program designed to foster children’s imaginative and active participation in the outdoors. The students learn about the natural environment around us, while developing respect for nature. Our Junior Kindergarten and Kindergarten classes spend three sessions each week exploring our natural surroundings. They trek around our campus using their sense of wonder and curiousity to explore various units of study hands-on. They are outside year round, rain or shine. The School’s Environmental Classroom is an additional space that can be used to showcase discoveries found during their explorations.
