Our residence houses are not typical dormitories – they look and feel like homes. All four houses (Barton, Fenwick, French, and Pearce) are nestled in a quiet corner of our campus, bordered by farmland.
All the houses have 18 modern rooms, each room features a private bathroom and toilet and accommodates two girls. Each house also has a common space with kitchen area, TV, DVD player, and games. Residence houses offer convenient access to school athletic and academic facilities including the tennis courts, gyms, fitness centre, dance/yoga studio, computer and language labs, and music rooms.
Our residence houses are staffed by a dedicated team who are completely focused on life in residence and the day-to-day well-being of the girls who make our school their home. They are responsible for the care, safety, and experience of each student, and offer mentorship and guidance to girls while they are away from home.
There are four live-in Resident Parents, one in each residence house, and dedicated staff provide support in each house during the day, after school, and throughout the night. Our House Moms also teach or work in other areas of the school, which offers them more opportunity to really get to know their charges, understand each girl’s learning goals, and provide support throughout the day.
The residence staff provide an environment that is warm, welcoming, safe, and conducive to effective learning. They offer support, encouragement, and guidance, and they are always available to chat, play games, help with homework, and organize activities and events.
