Trips
Overseas trips and student exchanges enable senior students to practise their newly acquired foreign language skills and to visit countries studied in social studies classes. Graduates from St. Margaret's are also encouraged to participate in government-assisted student exchange programmes for young people.
Many trips are planned year round and include visiting neighboring cities as well as other parts of Canada. Students are also encouraged to explore the beauty of Victoria. Girls take part in supervised outings to movies, concerts, the theatre and many other wonderful places within the city.
Outweek is available for grades 7 - 12. It includes various activities including camping, canoeing and kayaking at Strathcona Park, sailing with SALTS, discovering wildlife in Creature Feature, sewing and crafting in Creative Pursuits and exploring healthy activities in Women's Wellness.
