Boarding Life

So much can be learned from the experience of living and working in residence with girls of other cultures. Every day is memorable.

Our boarding facilities are among the finest in North America and include four boarding houses, the Alexis Dining Hall and the School health clinic. In residence, each girl shares a bedroom with one other student, and each bedroom has its own private washroom and shower. Residence staff are on duty before and after school and throughout the night. Teachers are also on hand to assist students in residence on week nights during the compulsory study period. Most boarding students are active in extra-curricular activities at the school and take private lessons in various sports and performing arts. Trips and group activities are organized on weekends.

Boarding students experience a unique environment with its own set of circumstances and opportunities. Each girl discovers a great deal about herself and positive character qualities are strengthened. Students learn to get along with others and gain new insights into each other's cultures. Friendships that bridge all differences grow and endure long after graduation.
