Life at Saint Margaret's School

There are approximately 380 students at Saint Margaret's School. About two-thirds are elementary and secondary day students. The others are boarding students who live on campus.

Within this small community it's easy for students to know teachers and other students well, and to develop a strong sense of belonging. Friendships and personal identity are enhanced by a Big Sister - Little Sister Programme and by student membership in the more intramural houses of Malcolm, Canmore, Christian and Turgot. Classes are small and as a result, students benefit from highly individualized attention. Academics, Fine Arts and Athletics are all integral components of the curriculum at Saint Margaret's. Whether Junior School students are designing their own websites, or competing in Robotics Competitions or Senior School students are participating in national science fairs or directing Drama Productions, Saint Margaret's School aims to provide its students with endless opportunities to pursue their passions.
