The Annual General Meeting of the St. Margaret's School Society will take place on Tuesday October 23, 2012. Click here a formal agenda and complete list of special resolutions.

All members of the Society are invited to attend. Please join us! 

Each family that has paid tuition fees (in whole or in part) at St. Margaret’s School in the current school year is deemed to have one Society membership per registered student of the same family. Eligible persons who are not presently, but wish to become, members of the Society will be able to purchase a membership prior to the commencement of the AGM. Membership runs from the date of purchase to the end of the school year in which the membership fees are paid. 

This year there is also a wine and cheese reception in the new and beautiful Culinary Arts Centre following the meeting.

Meeting highlights include:

1. A Chair’s and Head’s Report
2. Approval of the Audited Financial Statements for 2010/11 - Copies of the Society's Audited Financial Statements for the year ending June 30, 2012 will be available at the AGM, or prior to the AGM from Laurie Westmacott in the Administration Office.
3. The exciting unveiling of the SMS Strategic Plan - The vision, mission, values, educational principles, goals, and strategic priorities to guide SMS will be shared.
4. Nominations to the Board of Governors - Five qualified candidates have been elected by acclamation. Click on the links below to learn more about them:

5. Board of Governors Bylaw amendments - The Board has endorsed some changes to update, modernize, and refresh the bylaws that govern SMS. Please click here for a detailed explanation of the proposed changes.
