The St. Margaret's School Society elects the Board to govern St. Margaret's School on its behalf.
The Purpose of the Board is to:
- Prepare and maintain a clear statement of St. Margaret's School's mission and objectives.
- Be accountable to the St. Margaret's School Society for the overall governance of the School.
- Set fees and policies.
- Provide guidelines for the Head of School to direct the daily operations of St. Margaret's.
- Establish a program of scholarships and bursaries.
- Oversee the management of School assets including its buildings, equipment, and grounds.
- Have final responsibility for the financial resources and investments of St. Margaret`s.
The St. Margaret's Board of Governors is committed to:

- High academic standards that prepare students for post-secondary education.
- A flexible and balanced program of academics, fine arts, and athletics.
