We are a volunteer Board elected by the members of the St. Margaret's School Society during the Annual General Meeting.
We prepare and maintain a clear statement of the School's philosophy and objectives.
We establish and approve the policies and procedures that direct the Head of School in the daily administration of Saint Margaret's.
We are responsible for the School's strategic planning process.
We set fees and approve the budget for operating and capital expenses. We supervise the management of School buildings, equipment, and grounds. We have complete and final authority for all Saint Margaret's School finances.
We are committed to contributing the skills, dedication, and time required to best serve the unique learning needs of an all-girl's school.
We encourage all students of Saint Margaret's to achieve academic excellence - to prepare for post-secondary education - to develop confidence in themselves and others - to establish a sense of personal responsibility to their community, and to succeed in their role as potential leaders.
