The Admissions Team at St. Margaret's aims to make the application process a stress-free and positive experience for international students and their families. Director of Admissions, Kathy Charleson, together with Admissions Assistant, Gail Bateman, and International Program Co-ordinator and Advisor, Rona Archer, works closely with agents and families to facilitate the admissions process and endeavour to ensure that every applicant and her family are well taken care of.

Boarding is available for students from Grade 7-12. The following is an outline of the requirements for International Students applying to St. Margaret's:

• Copies of the student's most recent school report and her final report from the previous academic year
• A Reference Form or a letter of reference, completed by the Principal, Teacher or Counselor at the applicant's present school; this should be returned directly to St. Margaret's by the person who wrote it.
• Students applying to our International English Language (IEL) program are not required to attend an interview or write our English or mathematics placement exams at the time of admissions. They are required to attend our two week Orientation Program where their English and mathematics competencies are evaluated. The Orientation Program begins two weeks before our classes in September. IEL applicants to our school are accepted based upon their academic achievement, demonstrated effort and participation at their previous school and community, and their references.
