Junior School Programme Overview

The Saint Margaret's Junior School prides itself on providing a small, family-like community that has been ranked the #1 school in BC for five years running. Our Junior school provides education from our newly expanded Early Childhood Education Programme through to Grade 6. At each grade level, students are engaged in environmental stewardship at school and in the community. Students build leadership skills through a variety of school and community based initiatives, including supporting local charities for women and children and leadership opportunities including serving as grade reps to council and running Junior School events and assemblies throughout the year.

Small class sizes ensure each student receives individualized attention, with enrichment and support customized to each student's unique needs. Ours is an environment where teachers develop strong relationships with students and families. Specialist teachers provide French, Art, Physical Education, Music, Library Skills and Information Technology to all grade levels, with classroom laptops used throughout the Junior School. We also offer an excellent After-School Care Programme on campus for girls from ECE through Grade 6.
